Unique farewells

 My celebrant funerals are personalised and meaningful ceremonies that truly reflect the life of your loved one. With compassion and care, I will work closely with you and your family to honour cherished memories, celebrate individuality, and bring comfort when it is needed most.  families honor their loved ones and celebrate their lives.

 I will work closely with your Funeral Director to ensure we create an Order of Service that reflects the life lived and brings out your loved one’s personality through music, readings and tributes. 

I will meet with you and those who you feel knew your loved one best, to ensure the ceremony is full of memories, shared experiences and reflects the essence of your loved one.  On the day, you can trust in me to lead you through the service, ensuring a safe and treasured moment to honour the life lived.  

For you or those wanting to, speaking at a funeral can be tough.  I will be available to support and guide anyone who wishes to deliver their tribute or a reading. And on the day, if it feels too overwhelming, we’ll have a little secret signal just between us, so I can step in and read your words for you. That way, what you want to share will still be heard, with all the love and meaning behind it 

If your loved one has chosen a Direct Cremation, their body will be taken to the crematorium without mourners present. You will be notified of the date, and I can help you turn that day into a meaningful memorial service at a place of your choosing. 

Alternatively, I can support you in planning a Celebration of Life—whether with or without the ashes present—on a date and at a location that is meaningful to you and your loved one, so you can honour and remember them in a way that truly reflects their life.  We can plan an event which has photographs, food, music playing, friends and family sharing their stories of your treasured person. 

This can be everything you want it to be.  I can work with you to plan an occasion that  truly commemorates your loved one – lets make it as unique as them!  I can expertly guide you through the choices you can make to create a memorable event, where tears and smiles, singing and eating can all be experienced to truly honour the life lived.  

I have connections with venues throughout Sussex, Surrey and Kent, so I can help plan the funeral service with them to ensure it is the most fitting tribute to your loved one.  You can hold a celebrant-led Celebration of Life at a Golf Club, a pub, a beach – think of your loved one and where they loved to be, and lets make their memorial service happen there. 

 We can create a special moment where ashes are scattered or interred, once you feel ready to say this final farewell.  I can help support you to find the most fitting location and scattering option for your loved one.  There are so many options to help reflect the life they led, as their ashes reach their final resting place, whether that is at sea, by air over a favourite place, or buried in a place of significance. 

I can also support you in finding a meaningful keepsake if you’d like to keep some of the ashes close —whether that’s through memorial jewellery, being incorporated into a beautiful glass piece, or even something like a vinyl record—whatever feels most special to you.
